With only 2 DAYS before christmas, I thought i'd try and get myself into the christmas sprite by painting my nails with a festive inspired twist! I'm really looking forward to doing lots of christmas craft things over the next few weeks of the christmas holidays. 

Want of the Week || Cut Out Boots

Topshop Arabel Cut Out Boots  £85.00

After glazing through my Grazia magazine last week, I actually came across a dupe of these cut out boots from Office in the Grazia fashion chart and for the same price too. Link available here. Seeing the boots in the fashion chart then reminded of how much I was in love with these boots and how much I wanted them! However, I don't know whether I could justify spending £85 on them. So I did a bit of research and found this dupe pair from Missguided, which is now sold out and now I am unsure as to whether I want to spend £85 on the boots when I can possibly buy a cheaper dupe... Moral of the story, when you see something you like get it before you regret it!

As you can tell I haven't done one of these in a while... These are just a few things I picked up a while ago on my travels to London Town. I absolutely love my panther jumper from Bershka, I pretty much live in it! We don't have a Bershka here in Birmingham (I wish they did) so every time I do travel down to London I always try and have a quick peak in there. When I went last year I brought 3 of the same cardigans in different colours ooops! I just think they for the price in there you can't really go wrong. I also tried my hand at some haggling for my Run DMC top when we went to Camden Market (I also got attacked by some pigeons trying to steal my friends food but we won't go into that). £10 for a basketball top I can really say much fairer than that!

Berry/Oxblood products have been extremely popular this Autumn/Winter so I thought i'd share with you my top 5 berry coloured lipstick choices...

I have only swatched one lipstick on my choices which is Topshop Lipstick in Hazard but, these picks are based on product that would/are on my lipstick wants list. Therefore, you may see one of these products in a  future blog post. Most of these lipsticks are within a higher price range however, i have included the cheaper product as a berry coloured alternative. I absolutely adore neon this summer, whether it's a pop of neon or a statement piece, neon is a hit for the summer. Yet i've found neon a challenge to style. This is just an idea of how I might style neon switching the look from day to night. Additional accessories could be added in the day time look yet I wanted to keep it simple as the dress is such a bold item. The night look is actually inspired by Jennifer Lopez in her neon dress. I hope this look is helpful and let me know whether you prefer day to night looks or 3 different styled pieces.

I'm planning to go to a festival this year and I thought it might be good to share with you guys a few key pieces I would take with me. I'm in love with anything maxi this season, maxi skirts and maxi dresses are my go to products so I would definitely be taking one of those along with me. Short and sweet post today as I have 6 assignments to do in the next 4 weeks mini panic. Quick update i've had my nose pierced since my last outfit of the day as you may be able to see, I really want a hoop in it but when I got it done I was told to let it heal for a while before changing the stud. Also, as you can see in the outfit post I have new longer hair extensions, now these were recommended to me by a close friend and so far so good I absolutely love them! They are super soft and thick yet still easy to maintain and these hair extensions are from foxy locks extensions if any one felt interested, I might also do a review/post about my hair extension if anyone was interested. please do let me know in the comment box.

 I haven't been doing my favourites every month just for the simple fact since February I hadn't really brought many new products. But as I started back at university and my loan came through I went a bit crazy. Last month I’ve been loving Boujous healthy mix foundation, lush face masks and max factor mascara! I also recently discovered L’Oreal Superliner by watching one of beauty crush's video and wow it is spectacular, the best liquid eyeliner I have used so far.

 Lush face masks are now my go to face products at the moment, I’ve been using catastrophe cosmetic twice a week and it's made such a difference to my skin. My skin feels and looks a lot healthier and the mask has helped to clear up of my breakouts a lot as well, it leaves my skin feeling clean and soft too.

These are a few things I have picked up over the past few days, Boots are doing there 3 for 2 deal on all makeup products and skin care too, so I thought I would pick up a few things while the offer was still going. After having really bad break out's recently I decided to try Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation and I'm glad I did, it's a very light foundation more like a tinted moisturizer but I found it had great coverage on my skin. I am also in love with the Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara and my bold print playsuit can't wait to wear it.

First I just wanted to say again appoligies for the complete lack in posts for the last two months. As a lot of you know that follow my blog that my laptop was completely broken and I had been waiting for a my new laptop to arrive and woop it's here ! I have had it for about a week now but because i'm on my work placement as well at the moment I have found it difficult to do anything but sleep. 

I finished my day early today so I thought what better opportunity to do a blog post. I WILL be posting a lot more over in the next week and month as I finish my placement and I'm on easter holidays :).

Only Time Will Tell

So i've finally found a work placement well my course tutor found it and i start on monday. I'm so excited as it will be with visual merchandising team. The only thing i'm not looking forward to getting up at 6 to get there :(.

My laptop STILL hasn't arrived yet, apparently it's been sent from the actual warehouse and that's why it's taking so long to arrive. They said it should be here before the end of march so at least another 3 weeks to wait ! Just want it already so I can get back to regular blogging.

As bold prints are extremely popular on the high street for spring/summer I thought it would be great to share my ideas on how I would style bold pieces. These are just a few ideas on how you could style 3 different types of bold prints throughout the summer. TOPSHOP Lipstick in Nevada 

love this nude shade, this lipstick has a velvet finish and smells gorgeous. Definitely my go to lipstick at the moment.

MURAD Skin Perfecting Primer Dewy Finish

 I’ve only used this primer on occasions as it is one of the best primers I’ve used so far. I feel it leaves my make-up looking flawless and I love that it’s a dewy finish and not a matte finish as they usual make my skin look dryer.

SIMPLE Replenishing Rich Moisturiser

 I prefer this one to the light moisturiser as I have dry skin it’s like the rich moisturiser helps tackle that a lot more than the light one. This is a constant re-purchase as it keeps my face moist and soft throughout most of the day.

SIMPLE Spotless Skin Blackhead Eliminating Facial Scrub 

I’m so devastated, I went to re-purchase this recently as this scrub is amazing for getting rid of all the impurities and I think they have discontinued it. I love simple products has there one of the few products that don’t irritate my skin. So if anybody knows where to get this from again, please please let me know! 

THE BODY SHOP Almond Body Butter

I’ve always quite liked the body shops body butters but being £12 each I’ve always found something else to spend my money on but since the have had a sale I thought I’d pick one up and I remember why I love their products so much. This body butter is quite heavy but it’s smells so nice and is really good to use when getting out of the shower for you knees and elbows ect.
