Want of the week || Zara Skorts

Now I know I'm probably the last fashion blogger to blog about these notorious Zara 'Skorts' but better late then never right? These 'skorts' have been seen all over the 'blogsphere' this summer and I think they are an absolutely gorgeous piece. Zara for me never fail in designing simple, elegant pieces that take the fashion world by storm (or at least the blogging world anyway). Zara has not only succeeded in fueling the 'skorts' trend, Zara strappy heeled sandals have also been a must have piece this summer. I feel it may be a bit late in the season for me to buy these mini skorts however, Zara have brought out a pair of grey pinstriped skorts meaning the trend maybe here to stay throughout A/W??

I always think that kimono's are the perfect piece for spring summer, they are light-weight and easy to throw over anything. This floral print is the perfect edition for a summer wardrobe. Easy to wear with a plain top and jeans or on holiday over a cute black bikini. I'm going on holiday in a few weeks and I think this would be the perfect piece to wear in Turkey. I have been obsessed with playsuits recently! Ever since the temperature has risen in England, I have been constantly ogling playsuits and jumpsuits. I think they are such a perfect summer piece, they are so easy to throw on and style on those sunny summer days. Playsuits are also great for holidays as they are a great piece to transfer from day to night. I particularly love this playsuit as it has a cut out back see back here and it's in the sale, what more could a girl ask for?

Want of the Week || Aldo Taipa Wedges

Now i've probably said this previously in another shoe related blog post but I'm going to say it again anyway. I've always seen shoes/heels as investment pieces therefore, I don't mind spending a little more on a decent pair of shoes. I don't know whether that is just me or universal women's thoughts. But anyway, I see these wedges as an investment piece. I love the cute little ankle strap, I think it adds some class to the wedge and I adore the fact that it is in beige because a beige shoe can go with pretty much anything. And that is why these wedges are my pick of the week!

I have some really exciting news for you guys I'm going to Turkey in September! (whooop) So i've been searching through all the holiday sections on my favourite websites. As soon as I saw this bikini in the holiday section of the River Island website I fell in love! I haven't purchased this bikini yet as I think almost £30 for a bikini is a bit pricey without trying it on as they don't have it in stores in Birmingham. I've been looking around for other black bikini's as gorgeous as this one but no luck as of yet, so i'll be keeping my eyes out. I've also purchased a few little bits and bobs for my holiday and I'm planning to do a haul post on what i've brought in the next week or so. I'm also going to try something new on my blog starting next week so stay tuned guys!

Want of the Week || Cut Out Boots

Topshop Arabel Cut Out Boots  £85.00

After glazing through my Grazia magazine last week, I actually came across a dupe of these cut out boots from Office in the Grazia fashion chart and for the same price too. Link available here. Seeing the boots in the fashion chart then reminded of how much I was in love with these boots and how much I wanted them! However, I don't know whether I could justify spending £85 on them. So I did a bit of research and found this dupe pair from Missguided, which is now sold out and now I am unsure as to whether I want to spend £85 on the boots when I can possibly buy a cheaper dupe... Moral of the story, when you see something you like get it before you regret it!

Want of the week || Polkadot dungarees

River Island navy polkadot dungarees - £28.00

Dungerees are back! I actually really like the 'dungaree trend' for summer especially black dungarees, I think they have the potential to look really chic and elegant. These dungaree shorts would look really cute with a sheer white blouse underneath for a smart-casual look. Even though I really like that dungarees are on trend I'm in two minds about actually buying a pair for two simple reasons. The first reason is I'm quite tall and with any playsuit/all in one/jumpsuit I find it very hard to fit my body therefore, I'm afraid I may have this problem with a pair of dungarees. The second reason is because I know as soon as I buy a pair of dungaree, I will wear them for a few months and they'll be out of fashion again! What is a girl to do??

I know it might not be the weather for a strappy maxi dress or the colour yellow for that matter but I couldn't help but fall in love with this cute maxi dress. As I should be going on holiday in september I've been keeping my eyes out of holiday pieces and I think this is one item I shall be adding to my collection. I've also been on the look out for some cute floral printed trousers but I haven't seemed to find any I like! If anyone has found any cute floral trousers please let me know below.

I thought I would mix it up a bit with my want of the week posts. I have decided to include both designer and high street brands as there will be items that I have fallen in love with both designer and high street that I may not buy. This is a great example. I saw this bag on the fashionista website and instantly started to dribble over it. I think it's the perfect black bag not to big and not to small. Great to use with daytime or night time looks. Very pricey designer bag but a lovely investment piece. I would love to find a very similar dupe.If anyone does find one please leave links below :)

I’m not usually a fan of animal prints, I love them on other people but on me I have the fear they that will look extremely tacky. However, as soon as I saw this River Island T-shirt I lusted for it instantly. I think it would look super cute on a night out with a statement necklace and a skater skirt. But also it would be perfect for day-to-day wear with jeans. You could even wear this t-shirt to work with some black slim leg trousers and a fitted black blazer. A bargain at River Island for ONLY £15.00!!!

Want of the Week|| Half and Half Spotted Tee

Topshop Half and Half Spot Tee £32.00

Monochrome is suppose to be a big trend for Spring/Summer 2013. You can already see monochrome shirts in pretty much every shop you go into! I particularly liked this t-shirt because it's a bit more quirkier than those monochrome sheer shirts that you can get from most stores, it's a t-shirt with half contrast monochrome detail which I thought was a good twist on the S/S trend! This is definitely an on trend piece therefore £32 I feel is a bit dear for this t-shirt, but if you love being on trend and are now starting to buy your 2013 S/S wardrobe I feel like this is something that you should definitely treat yourself with! Look out for this S/S trend.

Want of the Week || Studded Hot Pants

Black studded denim hot pants River Island £30.00

I know it's not particularly the best weather in England for these. But I just fell in love with these gorgeous hot pants from River Island! I think if or when the weather got a bit milder these shorts would look so cute with a leather jacket, long sleeved cropped tee, really cute biker boots and red lips. (as you can see I'm already planning on what to wear them with). £30 I think is a bit expensive for these shorts and I know a lot of people will tell me that I can just buy a classic pair of Levi's and add studs to them, but I am extremely bad at any customising or DIY clothing so I'll leave it to the professionals and fork out a little more money haha.

Want of the Week || Doc Martens dupe

I recently came across this website prettylittlethings.com after I had ordered a few things from boohoo and i've pretty much adored the website every since. A mixture of Boohoo and Missguided, the website offers on trend fashion products at a very reasonable price. Not everything is to my particular taste however these bad boys have caught my eye. I really like these boots as they are a pretty good dupe of the black patent doc martens! With this style of Doc Martens ranging from £79 up to £100, if your on a budget and feeling like treating yourself i feel like these boots will do just the trick as a Doc Martens dupe.

Want of the Week || Pearl Crop Top

Pearl Roll Neck Crop Top   £45.00

Does anyone else think this cropped t-shirt is amazing! I think this top would look so lovely with a black pencil skirt and bright heels for a night time look or high waisted disco pants with an oversized coat in the day. I love how this top has black and white pearls, slightly pricey but I feel that this crop top looks a lot more expensive then £45.  Definitely a special girly treat for christmas!

This weeks want of the week is this fluffy black studded jumper, I do adore this jumper as it seems so easy to wear. As it's black it will go with pretty much everything and anything, so you can chuck it on over a shirt, on is own or with a pair of jeans and riding boots for an everyday laid back look. I know I'm a fond lover of the black but it's just so easy to put with everything. I feel like this jumper would go particularly nicely in my wardrobe specially for those lazy days/uni days. Definitely a winter wardrobe essential!

Want of the Week || Chelsea Boots

I've wanted a pair of Chelsea boots for a long time but, I always feel like buying a pair of boots is an investment piece. Then I always decided that I'd rather buy 3 different items of clothing rather than one investment piece! As in the UK the temperature has severally plummeted, I have decided now might be the right time to invest in some booties (as converses in the winter are no good for my poor little toes). There have been a few pairs of boots that have taken my fancy including these Topshop pull on Chelsea boots and these lovely studded Chelsea boots. But I particular took a liking to these Miss Guided Chelsea boots as they are such reasonably priced at £35, perfect for every day wear and they are waterproof! I feel like these boots will go really well with dresses, but also leggings and skinny jeans for a casual day time look.

Some people love it, some people hate it... and I LOVE IT! Here just a few 'halloween' inspired products that I have had my eye on for a few weeks. Specially those Jeffrey Campbell Litas, I mean who wouldn't want a pair of these? The things I've chosen are pieces you could wear at any time in the year but are particularly 'on trend' in the halloween period of the year. I just wanted to point out as well if anyone is feeling particularly generous to buy me a pair of JC for my birthday I would be extremely grateful haha :)

First of all, I just wanted to say a BIG SORRY for being such a bad blogger over the 3/4 weeks. I don't really want to make any excuse but my camera has been lost for two weeks then when I found it, it just didn't want to work for me. So I'm really sorry for that but hopefully I can get it sorted soon because I want to do lots more outfit posts (even though the weather hasn't been very nice) and also a few make-up bits and bobs. I will be back to regular blogging maybe not as much as in the summer hopefully and I have a few timed post for when I have my busy days at uni. I might do an update post about me if anyone is interested...

P.S I adore these wedges, not a winter trend per say but I think they would look gorgeous with a plain black dress.

Want of the Week || Embellished Shorts

I am love with these embellished shorts, it reminds me a bit of a mixture between the two autumn winter trends baroque prints and gothic. But that's just my personal opinion anyway lool. These shorts would look with both a day time and night time look. I do think that these shorts are a bit overpriced but then again it is hand crafted. I know this is off topic but, I just wanted to say a big thank you as well to all my followers!  I have over 50 follower now which is amazing for me, I'm still shock that people want to take the time out and read my blog which is amazing! So there will definitely be a giveaway coming up in a few months for all my lovely followers :)
