Places to Visit | Shoreditch

If you read my last post you would know that a recently traveled down to London for a short break away and my sisters birthday. Whilst I was visiting, it was recommended to me to take a trip down to Shoreditch and I’m glad I did.Once I arrived, I met my friend at the station and firstly we took a walk around Spitalfields market. Most of the stalls were closed as it was a bank holiday but we took a stroll around the ones that were and they have some really unique handmade jewellery which I fell in love with.

After our walk we decided to grab something to eat at The Diner, a fan of American style food? I really recommend you eat there if you are in the area.  Pre-warning the portion sides are quite big so beware! We then decided to walk off our food and head down to Brick Lane; this is where most of the ‘vintage style’ shops and street food is located.  Whilst I was there, I picked up a few cheeky bargains from the sale at Beyond Retro (I would have brought most of the shop if I could).

Once we were all shopped out, we took a walk back to the station and had a quick peak into Boxpark, this is a pop up mall located in the centre of Shoreditch. It’s made up of loads of different containers at the bottom full of independent shops and upstairs there are loads of places to eat and drink. Unfortunately, we were both extremely tired from the day we didn't stay and have a drink  I had such an amazing time whilst in Shoreditch, I loved the graphic art around the area and would definitely love to visit there again. I could imagine it being a great place to hang out when the weather is nice and sunny.
