Again another really big trend for spring summer this year, pastel colors! Here are a few ideas of how you could style key pastel pieces.

First I just wanted to say again appoligies for the complete lack in posts for the last two months. As a lot of you know that follow my blog that my laptop was completely broken and I had been waiting for a my new laptop to arrive and woop it's here ! I have had it for about a week now but because i'm on my work placement as well at the moment I have found it difficult to do anything but sleep. 

I finished my day early today so I thought what better opportunity to do a blog post. I WILL be posting a lot more over in the next week and month as I finish my placement and I'm on easter holidays :).

Anyway, I hope everybody is enjoying the sunny sun!

March Harrods Glossy Box

I must say that this month’s box is one of my favourite from Glossy Box. I always prefer their limited edition boxes more and if you read my blog you would know how I felt about February’s Box. This month’s box is the Harrods Limited Edition Box as you might be able to tell from the box!

In this months limited edition box I received;

So far I absolutely love the Burberry lip mist and I’m sooo happy with what I got in this month’s box.

Only Time Will Tell

So i've finally found a work placement well my course tutor found it and i start on monday. I'm so excited as it will be with visual merchandising team. The only thing i'm not looking forward to getting up at 6 to get there :(.

My laptop STILL hasn't arrived yet, apparently it's been sent from the actual warehouse and that's why it's taking so long to arrive. They said it should be here before the end of march so at least another 3 weeks to wait ! Just want it already so I can get back to regular blogging.

February Glossy Box

 Very late post on February’s Glossy Box I know, but I thought I’d post it as I needed to vent. I wasn’t very impressed with last month’s box. The February Box was all about Fashion Week and the five products in the box were ‘essentials’ to keep you looking good through the week, yet all the products in the box to me didn’t seem like the types of products you would take around in your handbag as an essential.

The Duwop Lip gloss, fair enough but the magic liquid soap and body lotion really? I liked the Duwop lip gloss as it’s a nude colour you can wear over nude lipsticks, or on its own to give a glossy finish. Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Relaxing Balm was another one of my favourites out of this month’s box, as it smells gorgeous and I always trying out new hair products.The shade I received in the Mineral Eye shadow was ‘Platinum Tiara', it’s a nice purple shade yet I don’t really use eye shadows at all. If you hate the smell of lavender, you wouldn’t like the Como Shambhala body lotion and the magic liquid soap I haven’t used yet but keen to try out. 

Sorry Glossy Box but I wasn’t too impressed with the February box, looking forward to this month’s limited addition box!

As bold prints are extremely popular on the high street for spring/summer I thought it would be great to share my ideas on how I would style bold pieces. These are just a few ideas on how you could style 3 different types of bold prints throughout the summer. I'm also going to continue the "how to style" posts regularly so if there is anything in particular you would like to see how to style please let me know and please do comment on your favorites.

My laptop still hasn't arrived but I'm still going to try and post regularly this month.
