Style Crush | Kourtney Kardashian

Now I'm quite a big fan of reality Tv shows in the UK, not that much american reality Tv (no offence) but ever since Keeping up with the Kardashian's aired in the UK, I have been hooked! I think all the Kardashian sisters are absolutely gorgeous, but I must say Kourtney is one of my favourites from the show. I absolutely adore her style, she always looks so sleek and sophisticated. I love that she's not afraid of bold colours or prints. She almost has a 'bohemian type style' which also appeals to me straight away as I love bright prints and anything bohemian related and that is why she is my celebrity style crush this month.

Mini Makeover!

Hi guys,

Just as short and sweet post to let you guys know that my blog has had a mini make-over. I've had a lot of time on my hands recently and decided that I wanted the jazz things up a bit with the blog layout. I've also got some new blog editions planned over the next few weeks to revitalise my blog and get a bit more traffic though my site.

I have some really exciting news for you guys I'm going to Turkey in September! (whooop) So i've been searching through all the holiday sections on my favourite websites. As soon as I saw this bikini in the holiday section of the River Island website I fell in love! I haven't purchased this bikini yet as I think almost £30 for a bikini is a bit pricey without trying it on as they don't have it in stores in Birmingham. I've been looking around for other black bikini's as gorgeous as this one but no luck as of yet, so i'll be keeping my eyes out. I've also purchased a few little bits and bobs for my holiday and I'm planning to do a haul post on what i've brought in the next week or so. I'm also going to try something new on my blog starting next week so stay tuned guys!

Want of the Week || Cut Out Boots

Topshop Arabel Cut Out Boots  £85.00

After glazing through my Grazia magazine last week, I actually came across a dupe of these cut out boots from Office in the Grazia fashion chart and for the same price too. Link available here. Seeing the boots in the fashion chart then reminded of how much I was in love with these boots and how much I wanted them! However, I don't know whether I could justify spending £85 on them. So I did a bit of research and found this dupe pair from Missguided, which is now sold out and now I am unsure as to whether I want to spend £85 on the boots when I can possibly buy a cheaper dupe... Moral of the story, when you see something you like get it before you regret it!

The past two weeks have been so busy for me guys. I started my fashion work placement last week and I haven't really stopped ever since! My work placement has finished now :( so i've had the chance to update my blog and chat up on blogs and youtube videos ect. However I start my new work placement in Birmingham tomorrow. You know what they say no rest for the wicked aye haha. I just thought I would come on here and share with you guys what i've been up to over the past two weeks. Enjoy!

What I brought 7#

Another small jewellery haul again. I just thought I'd share with you guys a few bits i've picked up over the last week. About a week ago there was a student event on in the main shopping center in Birmingham called the Bullring. Most store had 20% or 30% off student discount instead of the usual 10%. As you can imagine I went a bit crazy and spent quite a lot of money that day! These are just a few jewellery bits I picked up on that day. I also have another post planned to show you guys what clothing items I brought that day, so look out for that when I get back.

Want of the week || Polkadot dungarees

River Island navy polkadot dungarees - £28.00

Dungerees are back! I actually really like the 'dungaree trend' for summer especially black dungarees, I think they have the potential to look really chic and elegant. These dungaree shorts would look really cute with a sheer white blouse underneath for a smart-casual look. Even though I really like that dungarees are on trend I'm in two minds about actually buying a pair for two simple reasons. The first reason is I'm quite tall and with any playsuit/all in one/jumpsuit I find it very hard to fit my body therefore, I'm afraid I may have this problem with a pair of dungarees. The second reason is because I know as soon as I buy a pair of dungaree, I will wear them for a few months and they'll be out of fashion again! What is a girl to do??
