Style Crush: Solange Knowles

This months celebrity style crush is Solange Knowles. Solange Knowles, sister of Beyonce, has amazing talent at pulling of eccentric prints and bold colour blocking. Her unique taste in style seems effortless and is mastered by her choices of  accessories, that brings the whole outfit together. Solange's style has shone above her sisters and grown in the past few years after her choice of chopping her hair and going 'natural' in 2009. A definite style icon for 2012 but also and inspiration singer.

Week in photos #19

Dip dyed hair, birthday cocktails, birthday meal, pre-drinks, 21st cards, birthday cupcakes, russian furry headband, frankenstein fancies yum, halloween night- zombie nurse and megan fox ;). 

So I've decided to be really good this month on the blogging front! As deadline is finished and I do not have another for 6 weeks, I decided to plan the all the blog posts that I want to do for the month. I came to the conclusion as well, that I will continue to do my week in photos posts but every other week, so I have enough interesting content to share with you guys. It was 21^st birthday last week and I had such an amazing time but I feel like I haven't stopped ever since! I do plan to write a birthday haul posts but taking photos on my camera have been a bit hit a miss at the moment (with this winter lighting) but I am determined to maintain/ get back into the whole blogging routine guys!

Some people love it, some people hate it... and I LOVE IT! Here just a few 'halloween' inspired products that I have had my eye on for a few weeks. Specially those Jeffrey Campbell Litas, I mean who wouldn't want a pair of these? The things I've chosen are pieces you could wear at any time in the year but are particularly 'on trend' in the halloween period of the year. I just wanted to point out as well if anyone is feeling particularly generous to buy me a pair of JC for my birthday I would be extremely grateful haha :)

Week in photos 18#

OOTN, night out, new camera, miss guided delivery, re-decorating my room, bargain earrings, elf, mee, aussie shampoo and conditioner duo, new birthday shoes, ready to go, spa weekend.

I haven't done a week in photos for a LONG while, usually I would have done them every single week but for the past 4-6 weeks I feel like i haven't stopped, let alone had time to take pictures of what i've been doing all week. This week on the other hand has been 'the calm before the storm' as I have had most of the week off but next week friday is my deadline day for uni and it's my 21st birthday yay so there should be lots of fun posts coming up in the next few weeks including my birthday haul, maybe a outfit of the night depending on the lighting or maybe a birthday outfit of the day again depending on the lighting but I definitely have a few blog post planned it just getting round to actually posting them.

One of the most controversial artists out at the moment, her outrageous activities and influential style has made her my style crush of October. Such a big fan of hers and I absolutely love her tattoos!

First of all, I just wanted to say a BIG SORRY for being such a bad blogger over the 3/4 weeks. I don't really want to make any excuse but my camera has been lost for two weeks then when I found it, it just didn't want to work for me. So I'm really sorry for that but hopefully I can get it sorted soon because I want to do lots more outfit posts (even though the weather hasn't been very nice) and also a few make-up bits and bobs. I will be back to regular blogging maybe not as much as in the summer hopefully and I have a few timed post for when I have my busy days at uni. I might do an update post about me if anyone is interested...

P.S I adore these wedges, not a winter trend per say but I think they would look gorgeous with a plain black dress.

2. My favourite colour is pink yet I never wear anything that colour.

9. For about 3 years I had a slight obsession with Rihanna, i wanted to be her :)

1. Do you have any bad habits ? I'm a really bad procrastinator 

2. Why did you start blogging ? The reason I started blogging at first was because I was told it would be beneficial for my university work then I just fell in love with it.

3. If you could only have 1 meal for the rest of your life what would it be ? PASTA !

4. Do you have a word of phrase you say a lot? I always say enit lol

5. What is your favourite item of clothing? Thats a tough one... I would say at the moment my cut-out sleeved sheer shirt.

6. What jewellery do you wear on a daily basis ? Rings usually.

7. What is your dream job? Owning my own boutique

8. What is your guilty pleasure? Chocolate I think...

9. Is there a make up product you couldn't live without? At the moment it would be MAC studio fix+, it's my baby !

10. Do you have any pets? No but I want a puppy :(

11. If you could have any celebrities wardrobe who would it be? Mary-kate and Ashley Olsen's wardrobe please!
