New Years Resolutions for 2013

Happy New Year’s Eve!

Last year I posted my New Year’s resolutions and I thought it was a good way of setting the goal posts for what I wanted to achieve for the year. So I’ve decided to do it again this year…

1.       Stay organised
Organisation is key! I feel like I work better when I’m working to a schedule, otherwise I panic and hardly get anything done. This organisation resolutions includes being organised and on top of things in my work, university and blogging routine. I understand that with being a blogger comes responsibility and consistency which I feel has been absent over recent months. I’m willing to put the effort in within the new years as a love blogging and it will not only be beneficial personally but also with my university course.

2.       Passing my driving test
Save up, pass my theory test then my practical and be able to drive by the end of the year that is all I ask!

3.       Giving something back
New years for me is about appreciating what you have, celebrating your achievements and being thankful for what you’ve got. In 2013, I really want to give more to charity but also giving more to you guys, the readers. Therefore, I’m going to try and set up a giveaway in the New Year for all my lovely readers along with donating more to charity and all in all giving more to others.

4.       Healthy living
Next year I want to become more active and have more of a healthy living ideology. I feel like it’s not only good for your body but also keeping a focused mind and again keeping me organised.

5.       Take more photos
Looking back at memories in photos is the best feeling ever so why not take more photos and capture more memories?

What are your new year’s resolutions?

Blogmas Day 6- The Christmas tag!

I cannot believe it’s less than 5 days till Christmas, Christmas has come by so quickly this year! I thought I would continue on with the Christmas spirit on my blog and take part in the Christmas tag. I hope you guys all enjoy!

1. What is your favourite thing about Christmas?

My favourite thing about Christmas is spending time with family and friends, as Christmas is the only time everyone gets the time off work and we all get to spend a few days together.

2. What is your favourite makeup look for the festive season?

My favourite makeup look is quite minimal throughout the festive season with bright red or dark red lips.

3. Real or fake tree?

We have always had a fake Christmas tree as it’s so much easier, however I would love to have a real Christmas tree one day!

4. Giving or receiving presents?

I love giving presents because I think I’m really good at buying presents for family and friends so I love to see their faces when they open their gifts

5. Do you open your presents in the morning or evening?

Usually about mid-day after Christmas breakfast and a long nap haha

6. Handmade or bought Christmas cards?

Bought cards! I don’t think I’ll ever have time to make handmade cards L

7. What is your favourite Christmas film?
My favourite Christmas film of all time has to be ELF!
8. What is your favourite Christmas food?

EVERYTHING! I love the turkey and stuffing and I especially love the pigs in blankets yum and the pudding.

What do you love about Christmas? Have you done this tag?

Blogmas Day 5- Most reached for products

Throughout the past two months I have found myself not really delving into new products, as I am pretty content with all the products I am using at the moment. These are just a few items that have been the products I've reached for the most so far over November/December. Some products I have been continuously re-purchasing this year and others are new in the collection. Here they are!

Barry M nail polish. I have loved the colour burgundy/oxblood red for autumn winter so there is no wonder this has been a go to product! But most Barry M nail polishes are such reasonably priced there is no reason why any colour couldn't be in one of your favourites.

Sleek true colour matte lipstick in Vamp. As I already said I love the burgundy for autumn winter and I feel that this lipstick can add a lot of drama and flare to a plain and dull winter outfit.

Elf eye shadow primer. The first eye shadow primer I have used so far and it works a treat in keeping my eye shadow on throughout the day in combination with my Mac fix+.

L'Oreal Elnett satin heat protecting spray. One of the best heat protecting sprays I have used so far! This heat protecting spray smells amazing and leaves your hair feeling super shiny and sleek; unlike some heat protecting sprays that feel like they just sit on top of your hair. Avaliable in 3 different types; curl straight and volume. I brought the curl heat protector but I feel it works just as well when using it to straighten your hair. I don't like the claim that it 'lasts for three days' but the product itself does leave your hair feeling nice and smooth.

ASOS cross earrings. These earrings are so easy to wear with anything and available in pretty much every desirable colour.

Nivea Daily Essentials night cream. The Nivea daily essentials range as become part of my everyday skincare routine over the past 6 months. An invigorating night cream that is not too heavy on the skin. This night cream is perfect for keeping your skin moisturised throughout the night.

What are your most reached for products?

Blogmas Day 4- So far so good

Outfit of the Day, Asos necklace, surfing the net, Outfit of the Day 2, red lipstick, the best chocolate ever!, the 02 arena, yummy cupcakes my sister got for me, my crazy beautiful sister.

Just a few photos of what I have been up to so far this week. I arrived back from London this afternoon and I made it my mission to do a post today even though I am extremely tired. London was AMAZING, it was so good to spend some quality time with my family as I don't get to see them as much as I would like too. We had a bit of a shopping trip in Westfields shopping center and went for a bit of dinner at Jimmy Spices at the 02 last night which was nice. Apologies for a very short and sweet blog post today I am just so exhausted...  I hope you have all enjoyed Blogmas so far!

Blogmas Day 3- Dear Santa...

1. Bunny Iphone case 2. Necklace Regal Rose 3. Playsuit River Island 4. Benefit They're Real Mascara 5. Marc Jacobs Lola, 6. Studded slipper River Island

I never usually write christmas list, that's most likely the reason why I never really get anything I ask for lol but this year I decided was going to be a productive one and I was going to write my christmas list for my family. So here it is... Hopefully I should be getting an Iphone for christmas and I just saw the cute bunny iphone case and fell in love! I've only heard good things about the Benefit They're Real mascara and when I went to order on their website it was sold out, so that's obviously a good sign. I would really like to try out this mascara and everything I have brought from benefit so far I have instantly fallen in love with! And everything else is just what I have been lusting over for the past few weeks :)

*Images sourced from Tumblr.com

Hi guys, so I just wanted to do a quick blog post to update you guys on everything thats been going on and what i've got planned  over the next few weeks. So I've been a really bad blogger recently I know but I have a really good idea of blog posts over the christmas period to change all of that! As I have literally been snowed under with university work though out most of this month, I thought i'd do something different to make up for my lack of blogging!

I've decided to take part in blogmas, which is actually an idea from Anne Saccone whereby you blog everyday over December about what you've been getting up to that day. I'm going to do my blogmas a bit different, whereby I am going to try a blog every day from now until january but include ootd blog posts and make-up reviews ect along with what i've been up to that day.

Starting tomorrow I will trying to blog almost everyday until January. I hope you guys enjoy this new blog post idea and please do leave all of your links below of what blog post you have/are doing over the christmas period!

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend!
