April Favourites

L'Oreal Paris- True match foundation in Golden Amber
I am a big fan of L'Oreal Paris products. After purchasing the L'oreal Lumi Magique foundation a few months ago (review available here) and receiving a lovely comment from Hola Bambi about their true match foundation, it would be rude not to try it out. This foundation blends perfectly into the skin creating a flawless matte finish, my go-to foundation at the moment.

Rimmel London - Moisturising Lipstick in Nude Delight
After watching another video from the You-tuber Beauty Crush talking about this product, I had to go out and get it! A your lips but better moisturising lipstick, perfect for an everyday makeup look.

Rimmel London - Waterproof eyeliner in Nude
Another product featured in one of Beauty Crush's videos. A great waterproof liner that creates a bigger and brighter look to your eyes, a natural looking alternative to a white liner.

Collection - Illuminating touch brightening concealer in Glow 3
An affordable concealer that works wonders if you suffer from harsh dark circles or blemishes. perfect as a base product underneath a foundation but quite heavy in texture.

Forever 21- Cross Bracelet
Such a cute delicate bracelet that goes with pretty much everything!

Late February Faves

A very late February favourites but a monthly favourites post none the less. I found it extremely difficult to do this month, as I haven't particularly brought anything new and have been extremely busy with my university event project but here it is anyway…

Zara perfume Black Peony – This is a recent purchase however, I had to include it in my favourites as it has been my go to perfume for the month. I love the flowery smell of this perfume and it can last for quite some time before needing to 're-sprits'. At 7.99 a bottle, you really cannot go wrong.

Real Technique brushes- These are the only face brushes I use at the moment and will be continuing to use these for a while yet. After only hearing good things about these brushes, I decided to go out and buy their core collection. These brushes are great at providing a perfect finish to your make-up

Nivea Skin Wipes Pure and Natural with Argan oil and Aloe Vera- Regular buying of Nivea Facial Wipes, perfect for my skin type and I love the fact that they have argan oil and aloe vera in which is really good for the skin.

Burberry Lipstick in Antique Rose- A Satin finish, the perfect nude/pink 'your lips but better' shade.

Barry M Gelly in Shine- I love the finish of this product!! Only 2 coats needed for an overall neat finish and very long lasting for the price.

If you would like to me to do any reviews/further information about the products and my experience with them please do leave some comments below.

Late October favourites

This is a big favourites this month! This month's favourites has been a collection of stuff that I've been loving over the past two months. Most of these products are make-up products as I have been testing out new products for up-dated winter make-up routine.

MAC
Mac face and body foundation in C6. A very light coverage but easily build-able that glides smoothly onto the skin. I found this product perfect foundation for just after the summer as I only needed a light coverage and I have quite sensitive skin. Still a really nice product throughout the winter months however I'll need to be re-matched again as this foundation is in my summer shade. Also, I prefer a heavier foundation throughout the winter. Mac lipstick in Snob, I adore the bright pink colour and I love the fact that it is a satin finish so it's not drying on the lips.

ELF
I had a bit of a spurge at ELF last month, as I really wanted to try out some new products for my winter make-up collection and I proud to say that quite a few products that I brought i've been using everyday, so it was definitely money well spent. The products I have been using a lot this month have been the wet gloss lash and brow clear mascara, eyebrow kit in dark and the elf daily cleansing spray. These products are so quick and easy to use, definitely a great buy at the price!

NIVEA FACIAL WIPES
I previously wasn't a fan of these wipes; I really took a shine to the Johnson's cleansing wipes. I felt that the Nivea wipes were really irritating on the eyes in comparison however, I picked up these gentle wipes for dry to sensitive skin and I found these were perfect at removing everyday make-up and waterproof mascara.

BASTISTE DRY SHAMPOO
This has been my everyday life saver; perfect for everyday use and I feel it really helps to create a voluminous look to your hair also removes any greasiness. Perfect to use between washes and is suitable for all hair types.

August Favourites

 I'm usually late in posting my favourites but better late than never, here's my August favourites;
PanOxyl 2.5. I actually found out about this amazing product in Anna Saccone's Hygiene routine available here. This product is an acne treatment cream. I don't suffer from acne but I found that the cream works really well in reducing redness and slowly get rid of spots. I've been using this cream every night, a small amount on each spot and it has worked a treat!

Johnsons facial cleansing wipes. These were an impulse buy (because they were on offer in boots 3 for 2) and I'm glad I picked these up because they are really good at removing make-up and waterproof mascara but also cleansing the skin, also they don't irritate my eyes like Nivea facial wipes. And they are suitable for sensitive skin as well so a bonus for me.

Flora by Gucci. My go-to perfume for the summer smells so lovely and sweet. Enough said.

Katy Perry Cool Kitty Lashes. I am yet to try any of the other katy perry lashes but I really like this pair for a toned down night out look, I haven't had a chance to wear them out yet but I've tried them out with a few make-up looks and I feel they add just enough of a dramatic look to your lashes without looking over the top. (hopefully get an opportunity to do a review on these soon)

MUA Heaven and Earth Palette. I'm not usually an eye shadow person but this palette has all the perfect shades for a natural look, day or night.

And another thing I missed out of my august favourites but I'm absolutely in love with is Mac fix+, if any of you guys have used this product you'll understand why… amazing at keeping your make-up intact throughout the day, this baby has been my savour through the summer days.

July Favourites

Most of the products included in my July favourites I have been using throughout the whole of July. However, I decided to include the TangleTeezer (incorporated in what I brought post recently) because so far I'm in love and I don't think my opinion on it will change over the next few weeks. If I does, I will let you guys know!

Only one make-up favourite this month, I didn't really buy any make-up bits during July as I was really happy with the products I had been using. I brought the NYC High definition separating mascara a few months ago and have only recently started using it. I love how this mascara gives such a natural look to your lashes as the wand separates the lashes but also add length. I did prefer the voluminous mascara by NYC before but I feel if you use too much it creates quite a lumpy look. Skin care bits and bobs I have been loving is the Nivea daily essentials refreshing face wash and moisturising day cream, along with St Ives apricot scrub gentle. I have been alternating between the facial wash and the facial scrub. So I use the facial wash morning and night for everyday then every 3 days instead of using the face wash in the night I will use the scrub, just to keep my skin healthy. This routine has really helped with my spots and the dry areas of my skin, so I'm going to keep up with this routine throughout the summer. And last but not least the original Tangle Teezer, does exactly what it says on the box and really helps to maintain unruly hair and knots without it being painful!

I hope you all enjoyed July and please do leave links to your favourites post, I love finding new blogs.

June Favourites

This June favourites is more hair and skin care products than beauty as I'm quite content with the make-up products I'm using at the moment. I still can't believe its July already! June has gone by so quickly but anyway here's a few of my favourites for June.

Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo and Conditioner
I adore this shampoo and condition, the Miracle Moist range specialises in dry and damaged hair. I love this product because it uses natural sources such as macadamia nut oil and aloe vera to help feed the moisture back into dry and damaged hair; it does what it says on the bottle. (Almost in my empties, definitely re-purchasing.)

Elemis Fresh skin Cleansing Wipes
I actually received these wipes in a goody bag I received from Graduate Fashion Week last month and had been dreading using them, as I have super sensitive skin. But so far so good, not too must moisture escapes when you use the wipes, but just enough to remove your make up and cleanse the skin. Elemis Cleansing Wipes are another product with natural goodness such as elderflower extract and chamomile.

Soap and Glory 'The scrub of your life'
This scrub has been a GODSEND throughout this month and last, since the weather has (kind of) been warm, I have slipped into my sandals and I must tell you now my feet were not ready to be exposed until I brought this scrub! It is a combination of a scrub and soap so it is not too harsh on the skin, I've also used this product on my face and body as it is not irritable towards your skin, and it pretty much smells amazing.

L'Oreal Lumi Magique Foundation
